Job Description
The ACMV engineer works in conjunction with the project manager to facilitate smooth project progress.
Job Responsibilities
- Support the project manager in various tasks related to the ongoing project
- Attend on-site coordination meetings
- Collaborating with architects, consultants, and contractors to ensure project cohesion
- On-site inspections to evaluate progress and ensure the project stays on track
- Submitting requested documentation to the main contractor
- Liaise with on-site personnel and aid in the acquisition and procurement of site-required tools and materials
- Organizing and planning equipment shipments to site or office
- Keeping updated records of equipment delivery progress
- Managing the receipt of office deliveries
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in mechanical engineering or related field
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in the air-conditioning and mechanical ventilation systems or related fields
- Effective at carrying out instructions
- Skilled in prioritizing tasks
- Good interpersonal skills
- Understanding of risk management processes
- Proficient in ACMV (Air Conditioning and Mechanical Ventilation) systems
- Able to use Microsoft and other software such as Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC)
- Extensive familiarity with drawings
- Ability to adapt in different work environment
- Capable of performing under pressure
- Enthusiastic attitude when tackling complex problems
- Total focus on the company's objectives
