Essential Responsibilities
- Continue to perform current role and responsibilities as required by existing position held. No relocation or modification to current role responsibilities will be introduced or entertained.
- Manage assigned field service representatives and contract employees as required
- Develop and execute Military Field Service priorities, goals, objectives, and budgets
- Administer personnel actions for assigned field service representatives to include salary planning, performance management and training plans
- Develop and execute required departmental budgets
- Coordinate field service input and activities with the Regional Business Leader
- Assist Program Leadership in the execution of the current TLS Program by providing a positive customer connection through face-to-face contact ensuring customer priorities and requirements are understood and communicated to the bigger GE team
- Apply business and analytic expertise to drive customer satisfaction and product performance to drive productivity outcomes and enhance business growth
- Apply Six Sigma analytical tools to assist the customer with troubleshooting and fault analysis
- Assist the factory with data collection and timely reporting to facilitate performance analysis, marketing intelligence and sales opportunities for programs, services, and support activities
- Liaise with customer (program, technical, production) and internal (customer support, projects, services, marketing, sales) organizations in support of business objectives
- Assist customer and internal teams in the management and logistic support of assigned programs to include work scope reviews, maintenance scheduling, spare parts ordering, issue resolution and provisioning
- Provide customer training as necessary for future support of the assigned product lines
Qualifications/Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university in a technical or business management field of study.
- This role requires 5 years of experience in Field Services & Customer Contract Management in the Aerospace industry
- Possession of an Australian Defense Security Clearance or the ability to obtain such a clearance is a mandatory requirement for this role.
- Ability and willingness to travel as required

- Knowledge of aircraft engines or air vehicle systems and the servicing requirements of these systems
- Knowledge of Defense and aerospace contracting requirements, regulations, and operations.
- Ability and flexibility to work across multiple time zones both locally and the US. (Includes early morning and late evening teleconferences, etc.)
- Strong conflict resolution skills
- Detail oriented with strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to communicate with all levels of internal and external organizations, including upper management
- Strong interpersonal, influence, and leadership skills
- Ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team
- Prior Military experience as officer or senior enlisted / rating. (Other Defense experience will be considered.)
