Sales Manager (Freight Forwarding)
Key Responsibilities:
- Expertise in Freight Rates: Familiar with shipping company freight rates, with a preference for US/European lines.
- Customer Relationship: Management: Build rapport and establish long-term relationships with customers.
- Follow-up on Proposals: Actively follow up on quotations and proposals for sea freight services.
- Business Development: Identify and develop new business opportunities with potential customers.
- Customer Management: Manage existing customers by increasing trade volume and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Cold Calling & Visits: Conduct cold calls and visits to potential customers, providing competitive quotations and proposals.
- Sales Coordination: Liaise and coordinate all sales-related inquiries promptly and appropriately.
- Tariff & Quotation Management: Maintain and organize customer tariffs and quotations efficiently.
Requirements:
· Educational Background: Minimum Diploma or Degree in Logistics and Supply Chain or a related field.
· Experience: At least 10 years of relevant working experience in the air/sea freight industry.
· Skill Set: Ability to multitask, stay motivated, and maintain a positive attitude.
· Efficiency: Commitment to working efficiently and accurately.
· Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
· Independence: Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned duties.
· Language Proficiency: Proficiency in English/Chinese (Malay/Vietnamese preferred).
Work Location:
· Singapore (Frequent travel within Asia required)
