Responsibilties
· Placed in the care of Head of Business Unit (BU), and working closely/ reporting to the Sales Director, the Sales Manager will
Identify, qualify, and close complex sales to new and existing Marine, Offshore Oil and Gas customers.
· Develops, maintains, and advances relationships with current and potential customers to cultivate new selling opportunities.
· Documents and communicates the voice of customer to internal stakeholders.
· Leverages resources and knowledge of BU products, services, processes, and operations to support customer commitments, gain competitive advantage and foster business growth.
· Prepares or oversees the production of proposals and negotiates contracts for management approval.
· May participate in trade shows, exhibitions, conferences, and other events to keep abreast of industry developments, and seek potential customers.
· Deliver presentations to prospective customers within territory, or as required.
· Able to interact and influence key decision maker in senior position.
· Any other matters assigned by superior/ company.
Requirements:
· Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in telecommunication, electrical engineering.
· 4 - 8 years relevant working experience with good sales track record.
· Good sales network in the marine industry and knowledge in Maritime Satellite services will be an advantage.
· Experience as Ex-Radio Officers, are added advantages.
· Good customer contacts withship managers/owners will be an advantage
· Possess excellent business acumen, communication & presentation skills.
