Position Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Construction Project Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of Mechanical/ACMV projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. This role involves working closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
Key Responsibilities
Project Coordination:
- Assist in the planning and scheduling of Mechanical/ACMV projects, ensuring that all tasks are completed on time and in accordance with project plans.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
- Facilitate regular project meetings and maintain accurate records of meeting minutes and action items
Documentation and Reporting:
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports.
- Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to project managers and stakeholders.
- Ensure that all project documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant with company and regulatory standards.
Resource Management:
- Assist in the management of project resources, including manpower, materials, and equipment.
Track and report on resource usage and availability, addressing any issues that arise.
Quality and Safety:
- Monitor adherence to quality standards and project specifications, ensuring that work is completed to the required standards.
- Promote and enforce safety procedures and regulations on-site to ensure a safe working environment for all personnel.
Problem-Solving:
- Identify and resolve issues or delays that may impact project timelines or outcomes.
- Liaise with engineers, contractors, and other team members to address and resolve any technical or operational challenges.
Client and Stakeholder Interaction:
- Serve as a point of contact for clients and stakeholders, addressing any questions or concerns they may have.
- Ensure effective communication between all parties involved in the project to facilitate smooth coordination and collaboration.
Knowledge and Skills Required
Educational Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
Experience:
- Proven experience in project coordination or management within the construction or Mechanical/ACMV industry.
- Familiarity with Mechanical/ACMV systems and project requirements.
Technical Skills:
- Strong understanding of construction processes, including project planning, scheduling, and resource management.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., Microsoft Project).
Communication Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
Strong interpersonal skills to manage relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
Organizational Skills:
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
- Effective problem-solving skills and the ability to handle unexpected challenges in a timely manner.
Knowledge of Regulations:
- Understanding of local construction regulations, standards, and safety requirements in Singapore.

- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and lead project coordination efforts effectively.
