Description:
- Ensure opening (from 9.00am or earlier if needed) and closing of facilities from Mondays - Fridays (9.50pm) and Saturdays (7.00pm).
- Oversee and maintain door access controls (keys and access cards) for clubrooms (100+) and sports facilities.
- Schedule and conduct daily routine checks of all SD sports facilities including Sports Arena, Sports Complex, Swimming Pool, Poly Centre, Clubrooms Areas etc. Work with SD and relevant Depts (such as Estates, INDT, etc) on maintenance scheduling and fault reporting. Prepare necessary inspection reports on a monthly basis.
- Conduct monthly inspection on sports fixtures (eg. Basketball poles, Swimming start boards, Steeple chase barrier, etc) by a certified Facility Management personnel. Prepare necessary inspection reports on a monthly basis.
- Provide access to sports facilities during monthly checks on air-conditioning/fans systems, alarm systems, indoor lighting, flooring, doors and windows, rectification works, etc.
- Conduct routine and regular checks of all SD sports equipment (eg. Basketball Hoops, Badminton Nets/Poles, Table Tennis Tables, Tennis Nets, Soccer Goal Posts, High Jump Mats, etc) inclusive of changing the sports accessories.
- Maintain and manage SD’s loan inventories (eg. Tables, chairs, loud-hailers, sports timers, etc) to staff, student clubs and Wellness for Life sessions (including re-gripping, moving/packing, sending for cleaning, etc.).
- Work with SD Staff, respective Depts (eg. Estates/INDT) and external vendors for calling of quotations and/or arrange for maintenance/repair works when needed.
- Monitor/advise the proper usage of SD sports facilities & equipment and report any misuse to SD Staff.
- Liaise with cleaning or IT supervisor and/or relevant departments (eg. Estates, INDT, etc) on any cleanliness and breakdown matters. Upon approval by SD, arrange for maintenance or repair works when needed.
- Assist to evacuate users from outdoor sports facilities during inclement weather (lightning, etc).
- Abide with the Workplace, Safety & Health (WSH) regulations and SP Safety SOPs. Participate in the SD Department’s table-top and scenario-based exercises such as fire drills/emergency.
Requirement:
- Have a minimum of 1 year experience in sport facilities and equipment management or operations.
- Possess a valid First Aid Certification throughout the entire contract period.
- Perform monthly inspection of sports fixtures/equipment in the checklist given by Student Development.
- This inspection staff is to log damages and defects pertaining to sports fixtures/equipment listed in the inspection checklist.
