Job Summary:
The Procurement Executive will be responsible for managing the procurement process for the warehouse and logistics operations. This role involves sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing materials, equipment, and services to ensure the timely and cost-effective supply of goods. The ideal candidate will work closely with suppliers, internal stakeholders, and the logistics team to optimize procurement activities and contribute to the overall efficiency of the supply chain.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sourcing and Supplier Management:Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, price, reliability, and service.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure continuous supply and favorable terms.
Negotiate contracts, pricing, credit term and delivery schedule to achieve cost savings and business continuity for the company.
- Procurement Operations:Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including requisition, purchase order creation, order tracking, and delivery coordination.
Ensure the timely procurement of materials, equipment, and services required for warehouse and logistics operations.
Work with internal stakeholders to ensure timely payment to the supplier for materials, equipment, and services procured.
- Compliance and Documentation:Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date procurement records, including contracts, purchase orders, and supplier performance data.
Prepare and present procurement reports to management, highlighting key metrics, savings, and opportunities for improvement.
- Cost Optimization:Analyze market trends and pricing conditions to identify cost-saving opportunities.
Implement procurement strategies that drive cost efficiencies while maintaining quality and service standards.
Collaborate with the finance team to manage budgets and forecast procurement needs.
- Collaboration and Stakeholder Management:Work closely with the warehouse, logistics, and operations teams to understand their procurement needs and provide timely support.
Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to resolve any issues related to orders, deliveries, or quality.
Participate in cross-functional projects to improve supply chain processes and contribute to business growth.
Requirements:
- Skills and Competencies:Strong knowledge of procurement processes, supply chain management, and logistics.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in procurement software, e.g Oracle and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Analytical mindset with a focus on cost optimization and problem-solving.
- Other Requirements:Familiarity with Singapore’s industry regulations and compliance requirements.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
Ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate with cross-functional departments.

- Working Hours: Mon to Thu 8.30 am to 6.00 pm, Friday 8.30 am to 5.30 pm
