Responsibilities:
- Design and support system architecture across various business domains.
- Oversee end-to-end application delivery for assigned projects, coordinating with all technical component teams.
- Ensure project designs adhere to architectural standards.
- Contribute to the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of programs, subsystems, and enhancements for existing applications.
- Manage deployment activities according to established processes, including meeting prerequisites, executing rollback procedures if needed, and troubleshooting incidents during deployment.
- Conduct operational readiness tasks and ensure production acceptance criteria are met.
- Deliver functional and non-functional requirements (e.g., capacity, availability, response times, fault tolerance) as agreed.
Requirements:
- 8-11 years of experience, with at least 5 years working with Java on Cloud platforms (preferably AWS).
- Experience with Investment Banking, Wealth Management products/applications, and knowledge of Money Markets, Funds, and Debt Securities.
- Proven experience in Microservices architecture.
- Skilled in designing and building integration components.
- Strong proficiency in data structures, algorithms, design patterns, and object-oriented design principles.
- Experience in developing highly scalable distributed systems.
- Expertise in key J2EE technologies, including Core Java, EJB, JSP, JDBC, Java Mail, XML, JAXP, JAAS, JMS, JSTL, JTA, and batch processing.
- Familiarity with various integration design patterns (e.g., API, MQ).
- Experience with frameworks such as Spring, Hibernate, Struts, Jasper, and Quartz.
- Solid understanding of Oracle databases.
- Proficient in interface design, database design, and Object-Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD).
- Experience with CI/CD processes and tools, including Jenkins.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team, meeting deadlines.
- Capable of executing tasks based on instructions or run books provided by team leads or architects.
