Job Description
As a Compliance Analyst, you play a pivotal role in safeguarding the company's adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify compliance risks, develop mitigation strategies, and implement effective controls.
Key Responsibilities:
- Regulatory Compliance: Monitor and interpret relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards to ensure the company's policies and practices are up-to-date and compliant.
- Risk Assessment: Conduct regular compliance risk assessments and audits, identifying potential areas of concern and recommending actionable improvements.
- Policy Development: Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of compliance policies and procedures.
- Training & Support: Provide training and support to employees on compliance-related matters, ensuring they understand and adhere to internal policies and regulatory requirements.
- Reporting: Prepare detailed compliance reports and documentation for internal stakeholders and regulatory bodies, as needed.
The Successful Applicant
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business Law, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in compliance, risk management, or a related role, preferably within the SaaS or tech industry.
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and industry best practices related to data protection, privacy, and SaaS operations.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to identify and address compliance issues effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and present findings clearly.
- Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving and risk management.
- Experience in supporting audits, such as ISO 27001 will be advantageous.
