US Data Centre
Location: Changi
- Design and develop drawings and documentation for space layout projects in the data centres
- Review and access power, cooling, and space availability due to new or existing customers request in the APAC region
- Generate technical documents including CAD layouts drawing - rack and floor plans for installation
- Create Work Orders to Project Manager, Remote hands and contractors to execute plans
- Update faclility floor plans using Auto-CAD and DCIM systems
- Update and monitor inventory systems (eg FNT, OpsViews) for space, power and connectivity needs
- Update records of power circuits using DCIM software for customers review
- Work with operations team to design floor plan layout to accommodate new customers
- Assist Solutions Engineer with pre-sales technical queries
- Work with local and regions team on work initiatives
Requirement
Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
Min 3 years of working in design and planning of floor plan, optimize capacity experience
Experience in data centre would be a plus
Knowledge of AutoCAD is a pre-requisites
Proactive, self-starter and able to work with team with culture and across different regions
