Job Tittle: Desktop Engineer

About the Role:
You’ll play a crucial role in managing, supporting, and securing endpoint devices and applications for our diverse clients. This position requires a solid understanding of endpoint management technologies, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Deploy, configure, and maintain a range of devices including desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and IoT devices.
- Ensure all endpoints are consistently updated with the latest patches and security updates.
- Optimize application performance and implement security best practices across all devices.
- Develop and implement automation scripts for deployment, updates, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
- Provide Tier 2 support for endpoint devices, applications, and connectivity issues.
- Create and update user guides, and conduct training sessions to enhance user experience.
- Manage vendor relationships and maintain an up-to-date inventory of IT assets.
Requirements:
- Diploma in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in endpoint and application management.
- Proficiency with tools like JumpCloud, Clonezilla, Google Workspace, Office 365, and automation tools such as Ansible.
- Strong knowledge of Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems.
- Proficiency in scripting languages for automation and troubleshooting.
- Relevant certifications are a plus (e.g., Google Workspace Administrator, MCSE, ITIL).
