Job Description
- Perform market analysis (quantitative, qualitative, and technical) of LNG, crude oil, gasoline, distillates, in Asia and Global markets.
- Negotiate sales/purchases of physical cargo within limits of authority, and generate profit from trading activities.
- Develop, negotiate, conclude & conduct day-to-day activities of cross barrel products trading.
- Track and monitor world market movements, gather market information and knowledge to support decisions/strategies in pursuing business opportunities;
- Manage commercial activities such as exchanges, freight, or optimization of oil purchases and trading around company assets;
- Develop and deploy creative strategies to place hedges strategies and reports to support hedging decisions;
- Network and maintain relationships with market players.
Job Requirements:
- Diploma / Bachelor/ Master's degree.
- At least 10 years’ experience in LNG energy physical trading and energy derivatives or relevant areas.
- Possess excellent analytical skills to evaluate trends in both technical and fundamental patterns within the industry.
- Good knowledge of derivative markets including crude & products, futures & options, exchange & OTC instruments.
- Ability to work well across teams and regions to achieve results.
- Understanding of risk-taking and risk management
- Deploying disciplined trading and cash management methodology.
- Familiarity with trade execution, risk management, and trading/reporting systems.
- Able to communication with Mandarin to handle customers whom only able to speak Chinese
