We are looking for a seasoned Senior Oracle DBA who thrives in a dynamic environment and is ready to ensure our database infrastructure is robust, secure, and efficient.

Responsibilities:
- Manage and support Oracle databases in a 24/7 production environment, ensuring their availability, security, and performance.
- Design and assess Oracle database schemas, including performance tuning and optimization of SQL queries for both new and existing applications.
- Collaborate with AWS to keep databases updated with the latest patches and versions, and ensure they adhere to best practices.
- Monitor database health and performance on a daily basis, troubleshooting and resolving any issues that arise.
- Provide database technology services for new project developments.
- Manage database recovery, duplication, and restoration based on application needs.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- Bilingual in English and Mandarin to handle Mandarin-speaking clients.
- Minimum 3 of experience in software or database development, with a strong focus on Oracle database administration.
- Proven experience with Oracle infrastructure and architecture design, Oracle AWS RDS, and Oracle Enterprise Manager.
- Expertise in writing and optimizing Oracle PL/SQL and performing database optimization and performance tuning.
- Proficiency in managing database backups, restores, schema design, and monitoring Oracle alert logs.
- Experience configuring and managing Oracle 11g/12c databases on Linux.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with Oracle products and the ability to resolve complex database-related issues.
- Knowledge of J2EE architecture and object-oriented modeling languages like Java.
- Knowledge of data warehousing and technologies for handling high volume data with integrity and indexing.
