Job Purpose:
Contribute to the success of the organization business by ensuring that the latest relevant software system is employed, maintained and continuously improved.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide operational helpdesk support to users
- Support, determine and resolve application problems (1st level software system helpdesk support), reported by users via helpdesk system
- Formulate and execute system test plan
- Participate in software system development and deployment
- Prepare instructional manual relevant to the establishment and functioning of entire software system
- Perform any other relevant tasks as assigned.
Job Requirements:
Experience
- 2 - 3 years of experience in application development, maintenance and operation support as analyst, preferably in Manufacturing / Logistics / Supply Chain Management business
- Diploma/ Degree in Computer Science/ Computer Engineering/ Information Technology and its related professionals are welcome to apply.
Critical Knowledge
- Programming Languages – Java Script, J2EE, JSP, Servlets, PHP, SQL
- Experience in working with frameworks (eg. Spring, Struts, Hibernate, Velocity or similar frameworks)
- Good understanding of web technologies and web based application development
- Familiar with SDLC
- Familiar with Windows and Linux platform
- Exposure to Database – Microsoft SQL, MySQL, Oracle DB
- Knowledge or Exposure to the following domain/technologies would be an advantage:
a) Web Services (SOAP/JSON)
b) B2B integration of systems
c) Familiar with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) foundation
d) Knowledge of Logistics and/or Manufacturing operations.
