Logistics Manager

Chem Transport Pte Ltd

Supply Chain Management

· Develop logistics strategies to optimize supply chain efficiency

· Strategize efficient work process flow to streamline the supply chain.

· Roll out of new technology platform with GPS tracking to promote eco-friendly practices and fuel efficiency.


Transportation Management

· Strategize the coordination of transportation of goods for both inbound and outbound process

· Optimize transportation routes to minimize costs and delivery times.


Cost Control

· Implement control measures to monitor transportation and optimize labour utilization.

· Initiative cost-saving and cost reduction measures.

· Prepare annual logistics budget and manage the approved budget.


Performance Metrics

· Meeting agreed key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics for continually improving logistics performance. (OTIF; customers complaints)

· Root Cause and data analysis to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions

· Review and improve incentive plans to inculcate safe and positive behaviour


Compliance and Regulations

· Ensure full compliance with international and local logistics regulations and customs requirements (NEA, LTA etc)

· Keep abreast with latest industry regulations and recommend necessary changes

· Develop SOP in accordance to SS 651:2019 and ensure execution and compliance


People Management

· Supervise and lead a team of logistics, transportation and customer service professionals.

· Provide coaching to team members for problem solving and skill development


Customer Service Excellence

· Oversee the customer care team to ensure delivery and service level are met. Active prioritization process for customer segments A & B in event of resource constraints

· Conduct regular “Voice of Customer” to improve for better customer centricity

· Timely resolution of customers’ complaints/issues
