This position requires the incumbent to support all phases of design project according to the product test specifications. Working with the team, the Design Engineer will gain knowledge of the latest technology and the opportunity to work on newly developed products.
He/ She possesses mastery of design fundamentals and technical skills to execute design concepts required for EQT product. He/ She is able to work on multiple projects concurrently and deliver on expectations within tight deadlines. He/ She provides engineering support in resolving production challenges including quality, on-time delivery and technical challenges to achieve total customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Perform 3D Modelling / 2D Drafting / Thermal & Flow Stimulation using computer-aided design software (Solidworks, 3D CAD tools, etc.).
- Understand the project and task scope assigned and work accordingly to complete the project within the deadline.
- Must ensure that the final designed product quality and deliverables meet the required specifications and standards.
- Monitor and achieve departmental and individual Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) targets related to project delivery, quality, and productivity.
- Collaborate with Assistant Manager/ Staff Engineer to ensure daily engineering tasks are well-controlled, monitored, and on track.
Requirements
- Studies in any Engineering Discipline (Mechanical, Mechatronic, E&E, Precision Engineering)
- Min 5 years of Product Design competence, good troubleshooting capability.
- Proficient in Solidworks, GD&T or any 3D CAD Tools. Knowledge of Flow & Thermal Simulation is an added advantage.
- Well versed in Microsoft Office. Knowledge of GSS & PDM system is advantageous.
- Possess knowledge in semiconductor testing environment.
