Job Description:
- Handling procurement activities including sourcing, liaising, negotiating the price & contract with existing and new suppliers for the purchase of construction material and equipment.
- Consolidating purchase orders across different departments for purchase quantities and schedules, scheduling delivery and arrangements with efficiency.
- Estimating construction materials and equipment prices for tender projects.
- Track and monitor price trends and industry on supply and demand for construction materials.
- Assisting in all procurement documentation related matters in a systematic manner.
- Perform inventory cycle counts and day-to-day procurement/purchasing operations..
- Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
- Preferred Diploma in Logistics, Procurement, Business Administration or relevant fields.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in purchasing.
- Good communication & interpersonal skills, time management and multi-tasking skills.
- Proficient in MS Office applications.
- Experiences in the construction industry will be an added advantage.
