We are seeking a Senior Specialist, Network to join our team and play a pivotal role in ensuring the reliability and security of our IT network infrastructure. Reporting to the Director of Infrastructure Core Services, you will be instrumental in administering our enterprise network, enhancing our security platform, and supporting a variety of IT projects.
What you will do
- Deploy and operate IT network infrastructure (WAN, LAN, Wi-Fi, VPN), ensuring system availability and reliability.
- Address Service Desk tickets related to incidents and requests.
- Provide 2nd and 3rd level support for complex incidents and problems.
- Maintain and improve the existing networking architecture and increase awareness of new technologies that might enhance device operations, capacity, and performance.
- Plan and execute changes according to agreed change processes.
- Maintaining routine maintenance tasks on all network operational components, infrastructure equipment and operational documentation, processes and knowledge documentation.
- Collaborate with business and other IT teams to meet network requirements for various projects.
What you bring
Experience
- College education or Diploma in Information Technology with a minimum of 5 years managing complex enterprise networks.
- Advanced knowledge of switching, routing, and firewalling in an enterprise environment with experience in Cisco Meraki and Juniper Wi-Fi, as well as Cisco and Juniper office and datacenter network appliances.
- Familiarity with transparent and non-transparent proxy solutions with preferred knowledge in configuring and troubleshooting Azure virtual WAN, networks, and firewalls.
- Proficiency in dynamic routing (Cisco, Cisco Meraki, Juniper, Fortinet) and Azure network products.
- Experience with network monitoring tools and network architecture in WAN/LAN/Wi-Fi/SDWAN and hands-on experience with DHCP and DNS administration and configuration.
