Role Overview: The Procurement Intern will assist in various aspects of the procurement process, including supplier research, order management, and contract administration. This role offers a unique opportunity to learn about procurement strategies, vendor relationships, and the overall supply chain management process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in identifying and evaluating potential suppliers and vendors.
- Support the preparation and processing of purchase orders and contracts.
- Help manage supplier communications and resolve any issues related to orders or deliveries.
- Conduct market research to identify new sourcing opportunities and potential cost savings.
- Assist in monitoring supplier performance and ensuring compliance with company standards and agreements.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of procurement documentation, including reports and records.

Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a related field.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Basic understanding of procurement processes and supply chain management is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with data analysis tools.
