Position Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and driven Mechanical Engineering Intern to support our engineering team in various aspects of mechanical design and analysis. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain practical experience and develop skills in a real-world engineering environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design, development, and testing of mechanical components and systems.
- Support the creation of technical drawings and specifications using CAD software.
- Conduct research and analysis to support engineering projects.
- Participate in design reviews and provide feedback on design and performance.
- Assist with prototype development and testing.
- Document and report on project progress and findings.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address technical challenges.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles and practices.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) is preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a team environment.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Previous internship or project experience in engineering is a plus but not required.
Internship Period: Dec/Jan 2024 to June/July 2025.
Start and End dates are open for discussion and we encourage current students pursuing degree/diploma who are keen to apply.
Both credit bearing and non credit bearing internships are welcome to apply.
