Join us as a Management Trainee - F&B today as you take on the following responsibilities in these two areas (but not limited to):
Banquet
- Ensure all banquet functions are setup and in progress according to event organizers’ requirements as well as perform staff supervision and allocation of work assignments during banquet/ event functions.
- Work closely with necessary departments to ensure that event organizers’ request are communicated for necessary actions.
- Address queries and resolve any irregularities that happen during the event/ banquet functions, extend wholehearted friendliness to guests and ensure their comfort and satisfaction.
- Seek opportunities to enhance the banquet/ event experience of our guests with personalized touches.
- Maintain accurate inventory and proper maintenance of all banquet operating equipment.
Carousel, Buffet Restaurant
- Assist in the daily operations of the buffet restaurant, including setup, service, and breakdown.
- Learn and apply food safety and hygiene standards to ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Support the management team in monitoring food quality, presentation, and replenishment throughout service.
- Engage with guests to ensure satisfaction, address concerns, and gather feedback for continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate timing and delivery of food items to the buffet.
- Train in inventory management, including ordering supplies, managing stock levels, and minimizing waste.
- Participate in staff scheduling, training, and performance evaluations under the guidance of the restaurant manager.
- Learn and implement cost control measures to optimize profitability.
- Assist in marketing and promotional activities to drive guest attendance and satisfaction.
- Develop problem-solving and leadership skills to prepare for a future management role within the restaurant.
Minimum 1 year experience in similar capacity is required.
Individual should be able to work independently in a fast paced environment, willing to work rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays in a 5-day work week
