We’re searching for an Sustainability Engineer (ESG) to be part of our Supply Chain Department diverse team of talent. You will be responsible to support Company’s Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) projects.
What you will be working on:
Project Management
- Lead and manage ESG projects & initiatives from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with corporate sustainability goals.
- Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets, and coordinate resources effectively.
- Prepare Capex Justification presentation in an accurate and timely manner to facilitate Management Team decision making
- Project lead in a cross functional team to ensure project schedule is executed in a timely manner and meeting project budget
Supply Chain
- Assist and take lead to drive the initiatives especially on Scope 3 Emissions
- Assess and quantify upstream and downstream emissions from the organization’s value chain, including suppliers, products, and waste disposal.
- Collaborate with suppliers and partners to develop and implement emission reduction initiatives, such as sustainable sourcing practices and transportation efficiency improvements.
- Review Supply Chain SOP & OI and ensure they are updated to ESG requirements
Reporting and Compliance
- Support Supply Chain Department on Company’s requirements for reports on sustainability metrics, including greenhouse gas emissions, energy consumption, and waste generation.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards related to sustainability and environmental management.
- Handle Compliance, Internal, Exernal and Customer audits to ensure compliance
- Liaison with related government bodies on grant and commercial apects
Continuous Improvement:
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of sustainability initiatives and recommend improvements based on data analysis and industry best practices.
- Stay updated on emerging trends, technologies, and regulations in sustainability and incorporate relevant advancements into project strategies.
More about you:
- Degree in Chemical/Gas, Mechanical, Environmental, health and safety & other engineering.
- Possess knowledge on ESG, IPCC, RCA
- Preferably 4-5 years purchasing experience or engineering experience in a front end semiconductor plant .
- Knowledge and relevant experiences in Conflict Mineral, Green Procurement is a bonus.
- Knowledge in handling audits for Scope 1 emissions is a bonus
