As a Derivatives Settlements Analyst, your role will be pivotal in supporting the FICC Derivatives Settlements within the APAC region. You will be entrusted with the responsibility of liaising with clients on various trade settlements issues while ensuring the accuracy and completeness of settlement details. Your proactive nature will be crucial in controlling, monitoring, and resolving any settlements or system breaks status. Furthermore, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the team's projects and process improvement initiatives.
- Liaise with clients on trade settlements issues including confirmation of settlement amounts, exchanging of SSIs and finalization of settlement confirmation arrangements.
- Follow up and liaise with Trade Control, Client, and Front Office teams in resolving settlement related queries.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of settlement details in payment system.
- Act as point of contact for clients on payment inquiries.
- Control, monitor and resolve settlements/system breaks status.
- Participate in the team's related projects and process improvement initiatives.
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for the Derivatives Settlements Analyst position brings a Diploma or Degree qualification along with a good understanding of Back office Operations responsibilities and processes. Your strong interpersonal and communication skills coupled with your proactive nature will enable you to excel in this role. A proficiency in MS Product Suite is essential, while product knowledge of FICC derivative products and ISDA Definitions would be advantageous. Your ability to work under pressure within a team environment will be key to your success.
