Key Roles and Responsibilities:
- Perform testing & commissioning of PV System according to check list
- Perform QA/QC role according to checklist and verify as built drawing
- Perform inspection on PV System according to check list
- Perform Infrared Scanning on PV AC Switchboard, Isolator, PV Panels and Inverters.
- Set up and configure network switches, industrial router and data logger to connect to pyranometer, weather station, temperature sensor, revenue meters and etc.
- Support engineer to perform de-energization and re-energization of PV system as when customer request for shutdown of PV System
- Support level 1 troubleshooting on site for PV system to take care of alarm under minor, major and critical
- Attend to emergency respond to site when critical alarm occurs and prepare preliminary report
- To troubleshoot, repair and resolve technical issues pertaining to electrical works
- To perform other relevant electrical duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Experiences:
- Nitec/ ITE / Diploma in Electrical Engineering
- 2 years of relevant working experiences or 1-year Solar PV experience
- Ability to quickly read and understand construction plans and schematics diagrams.
- Understanding of electrical system and metal roof layout for solar installation.
- Thorough understanding of SS638 and working knowledge of common construction materials and methods.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Autocad and construction software.
- Knowledge of engineering principles and practices.
- Previous experience in electrical works in construction is an added advantage
- Ability to work cross functionally in a fast-paced environment, communicate concisely to all levels of the organization, and maintain effectiveness while working autonomously or collaboratively.
- Ability to multi-task and manage deliverables for multiple projects at a time
- Prefer to have personal transport

- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
- Demostrated oral and written communication skills
- Very detail oriented and well organized
- Not afraid of heights, medically fit and able to climb vertical ladders.
- Safety certifications such as Managing Work at Height, Building Construction Supervisors Safety Course etc. preferred.
