Job Responsibility
- Ensure compliance with government health, safety and environmental regulations. Enforce all safety requirements and in-house safety rules.
- Achieve zero safety demerit points from Ministry of Manpower and other agencies.
- Continuous improvement on the EHS system through the effective implementation of ISO 14001 and OHSAS 1800 management standards.
- On-sites monitoring and conducting regular safety inspections on construction work site.
- Identify and recommend best practices and continuous improvement initiatives to reduce work process risks, raise safety awareness, and improve safe work practices.
- Provide technical advice, coaching, guidance and mentoring to the WSH team on safety initiatives and necessary changes.
Requirements
- Registered WSHO and ECO with minimum 3 years of working experience in a construction firm.
- Familiar with the safety, health and environmental legislations as well as risk management procedure.
- Familiar with ISO 45001, ISO 14001, ConSASS and GGBS.
- Be dynamic, self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented.
