Position Overview: The Stock Room In-Charge will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of stockroom management within our retail store. This role involves ensuring that inventory is properly received, stored, and distributed, while maintaining high standards of accuracy and organization. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and experience in retail stock management.

Key Responsibilities:
- Inventory Management: Receive, inspect, and document incoming merchandise, ensuring accuracy of shipments and adherence to quality standards. Maintain accurate stock levels and conduct regular stock counts.
- Stock Organization: Organize and maintain stockroom layout to maximize space efficiency and ensure easy access to products. Implement and enforce best practices for stock storage and handling.
- Stock Replenishment: Monitor sales trends and inventory levels to anticipate stock needs. Coordinate with store management to replenish floor stock and manage backroom inventory.
- Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections of stockroom conditions and inventory to identify and address potential issues such as damaged goods or discrepancies.
- Reporting: Generate and review inventory reports, highlighting any discrepancies or issues. Communicate findings and recommendations to store management.
- Customer Service: Assist with stock-related customer inquiries and ensure a high level of service for both internal and external stakeholders.
- Safety and Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards. Maintain a clean and organized stockroom environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in business or logistics is a plus.
- Proven experience in stockroom management or a similar role within the retail apparel industry.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Physical ability to lift and move merchandise and operate stockroom equipment.
Working Conditions:
