We are seeking a skilled and experienced Air Con Technician to join our team at Royal Ocean Marine. As an Air Con Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of air conditioning systems on vessels and marine facilities.
Your main duties will include:
- Conducting inspections and troubleshooting of air conditioning systems
- Performing routine maintenance and servicing of air conditioning units
- Identifying and repairing any faults or issues in the systems
- Installing new air conditioning systems as necessary
- Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards
- Documenting all maintenance, repairs, and installations
- Providing recommendations and advice for improving system performance and energy efficiency
- Collaborating with other members of the marine engineering department to ensure optimal operation of air conditioning systems
- Keeping up-to-date with industry trends, advancements, and best practices
The ideal candidate for this role will have a strong background in air conditioning systems, preferably with experience in the marine industry. Strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently are also essential.
- Possess a Diploma or Certificate in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience as an Air Con Technician or similar role
- Proficient in troubleshooting and repair of air conditioning systems
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and industry standards
- Strong technical skills and problem-solving abilities
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
