- Working Hours: 5 days (Mon – Fri, 8.30 am – 6.00 pm)
- Salary Package: Basic salary up to $4,000 + AWS + Performance Bonus
- Duration: Permanent Role
Key Responsibilities
- Follow MRP guidelines to release Purchase Orders (POs) or Request for Quotations (RFQs) to suppliers.
- Coordinate with local and overseas suppliers about purchase issues and track shipment status.
- Oversee procurement, logistics, and production planning processes.
- Ensure cost-effectiveness, quality, and timely delivery in procurement.
- Identify and research potential suppliers to evaluate their capabilities.
- Appraise suppliers for machine components, materials, and products from local and overseas sources.
- Use negotiation skills to get the best prices, payment terms, and lead times, ensuring on-time deliveries.
- Manage and monitor Engineering Changes (EC) closely.
- Maintain warehouse stock levels to support production needs.
- Communicate effectively with key stakeholders at all levels.
- Analyze complex issues where detailed evaluation of variable factors is required.
- Select appropriate methods and techniques to achieve results.
- Determine procedures for new tasks and may be asked to coordinate team activities.
- Provide management with data and reports on purchasing activities as needed.
- Review and suggest improvements for the purchasing system to management.
- Perform any additional duties assigned by the department manager.

- Degree in Business, Purchasing, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of purchasing experience in the manufacturing industry.
- Proficient in SAP, ORACLE, SYSPRO, BAAN, or related MRP & ERP systems.
