Job Description

- Position Title: Regional Technical Engineer (APAC) / IT Support Engineer
- Working Location: Tai Seng
- Working Hours: 5 days (Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 6 PM)
- Salary Package: Basic Salary up to $5,000 + Variable Bonus
- Duration: Permanent
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to the sales team and customers for Proof of Concept (PoC), project deployment, post-sales support, and internal simulation testing.
- Study system and product technical details to offer technical advice or support to customers and the sales team.
- Evaluate product specifications to improve system performance.
- Communicate with HQ programmers about customized software functionality requirements or 3rd party software integration (API) details.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers.
- Offer troubleshooting assistance to customers from the office or on-site.
- Manage demo products and maintain the filing of technical information.
- Set up and manage demo equipment for tradeshows.
- Monitor customer satisfaction to ensure outstanding customer value.
- Develop and maintain technical competence in company products, applications, and services.
- Create technical information such as datasheets, manuals, and training materials.
- Conduct technical presentations or training for customers.
- Assist in overall company operations for self-development toward a managerial position.
- Provide timely updates through the Vaxtor Project/PoC Management tool.
- Any ad-hoc duties as assigned.

- Diploma in IT, Computer Engineering or Electronics, or equivalent
- Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience in the electronics industry
- Knowledge of ANPR software and Intelligent Traffic System will have an advantage
- Experience with OCR, Computer Vision, Machine Learning and AI technologies is a plus
