Job Description
- Define job responsibilities for import/export operations to meet manufacturing needs.
- Ensure timely import/export of goods to both internal and external stakeholders.
- Handle paperwork and system processes efficiently for importing and exporting goods.
- Coordinate with vendors, forwarders, airlines, movers, and internal stakeholders to ensure on-schedule shipment of capital equipment and incoming materials/parts.
- Facilitate the export of finished goods to customers through effective coordination with internal stakeholders and forwarders, ensuring timely and secure deliveries.
- Ensure all shipments and document are adhere to SG customs requirement and internal SOP(s).
- Maintain clear communication with vendors/forwarders and internal stakeholders regarding issues impacting deliveries.
Requirements:
- Diploma in International trade, shipping management, or engineering with minimum 3 year of working experience in import and export functions in semiconductor industry or related engineering industries.
- Knowledge in Freight Forwarder environment, Custom handling, Airline booking and Logistics.
- Familiarity with Customer service and Semiconductor manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge in SAP system, Power point, Excel, Word processing, STP-Plus certification and TradeNet, etc
- Process the ability to read, write and communicate in Mandarin with Chinese-speaking vendors and internal stakeholders
- Self-starter with good initiative and a team player personality.
- Dynamic individual capable to work under stress and perform multi- tasking.
