ICT Trainer
North Spring Primary School, 1 Rivervale Street, Singapore 545088
Contract Duration: 1 January 2025 to 30 June 2026
Work Hours:
- Mondays to Thursdays: 7.30am to 5.00pm (inclusive of 1-hour lunch break)
- Fridays: 7.30am to 4.30pm (inclusive of 1-hour lunch break)
- Service is not required on Saturdays, Sundays, and gazetted public holidays, unless requested by the school.
Objective: The ICT Trainer will be responsible for supporting the ICT operations at North Spring Primary School by providing expert assistance in ICT-related tasks, training, and project management. The role requires a proactive individual who can seamlessly integrate into the school environment and contribute to enhancing the school's ICT capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Planning and Implementation
- Assist in school-initiated ICT projects, including updates, documentation, and adherence to MOE policies.
- Support the HOD/ICT and ICT Manager in ICT inventory and asset management.
- Coordinate tasks with other ICT support personnel, including Desktop Engineers (DEs) and vendors.
- Plan and implement structured ICT training programs for staff and students.
- Develop monitoring processes for all ICT-related activities.
2. Administrative Support
- Assist in the design, maintenance, and upkeep of the school's website (ISOMER).
- Design posters and other visual materials for the school.
- Provide photography and videography services, including pre- and post-production; AI-related work is advantageous.
- Compile and archive students’ ICT projects.
- Conduct online surveys to evaluate ICT course effectiveness.
- Support e-Oral and e-Listening Comprehension exams setup.
- Provide AV support for school events and daily activities.
3. Support in Teaching and Learning
- Aid in the integration of ICT tools in teaching and learning, driving an e-learning culture.
- Assist in the implementation of e-learning activities and the management of the Learning Management System (LMS).
- Provide training and support for teachers on ICT and AV equipment usage.
4. Training and Development
- Plan and conduct baseline ICT training for students.
- Familiarize students with ICT tools and e-learning platforms.
- Support training sessions for teachers and students, reviewing and improving programs as needed.
- Conduct ICT-related activities during CCA training and prepare students for ICT competitions such as the National Robotic Competition.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Education: Minimum diploma, preferably in multimedia, design, computer studies, or information technology.
- Experience: At least 12 months of relevant work experience, preferably in a primary school environment.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft 365 Suite & Google Workspace (including Google Classroom).
- Experience with Adobe Media editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Audition).
- Experience with Apple Media editing software (e.g., iMovie, Final Cut Pro, Garage band).
- Proficient in design software (e.g., In Design, Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva).
- At least 1 year of experience as an ISOMER Admin.
- At least 1 year of experience as a Google Workspace Administrator.
