Description:
Responsible for the quality assurance efforts, ensuring that solutions meeting the highest standards before release.
Responsibilities:
- Create details, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans, and test cases.
- Conduct hands-on testing.
- Liaise with developers to ensure a thorough understanding of the solutions and to ensure that user needs are met.
- Oversee the tracking of bugs and issues, ensuring they are prioritized, tracked, and reported.
- Collaborate with the development team to ensure timely resolution of identified issues.
- Research and implement new tools and technologies to maximize efficiency and effectiveness in testing.
- Analyse root causes of defects and implement steps to reduce occurrences in future releases.
- Maintain documentation of test results to assist in debugging and modification of solutions.
- Report regular to management on project progress and potential risk relating to QA.
Qualifications:
- At least 1 year experience in software quality assurance.
- At least 5 years of direct work experience in software quality assurance.
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Experience with automated testing tools like Selenium, Junit, TestNG etc.
- Knowledge of various software development framework such as Agile, SCRUM etc.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute test cases, scripts, plans, and procedures.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, writing, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
