What the Role Is
Be the source of courage, command, and control. As a SCDF Paramedic Senior Officer, you will be professionally trained to take control of challenging emergency medical situations and provide first-class prehospital care. You will also drive Emergency Medical Service (EMS) education, research, as well as operational and clinical excellence within the organisation to keep Singapore a safe and emergency ready nation.

What we are looking for
To qualify for direct entry as a Lieutenant, you must meet the following requirements:-
- A Degree in any discipline
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Male applicants must be PES A or B
- Minimum 'Pass' for IPPT
Sign On Bonus
As a successful applicant, you will receive a $15,000 sign-on bonus (subject to eligibility) upon emplacement.
Invest Retirement Package
Upon resignation from service, officers may withdraw 13.25% of their gross monthly salary from Year 5 of service, based on the applicable vesting scale, provided they have been on the INVEST Plan for at least 10 years. Any remaining unvested balance of moneys in the account will be forfeited and the account will be closed thereafter.
Strategic Payment Scheme
New officers can look forward to three months (Captain and below) cash payouts and 2.5 months (Major and above) quantum upon reaching their 3, 6, 9, 12, 15, 20, and 25 years in service.
Other Benefits
Officers are entitled to MHA Uniformed Singlife insurance coverage, subsidised medical and dental treatment, and opportunities for further education specialisation. Other benefits include yearly $700 learning and development subsidies, leave entitlements and subsidised medical and dental treatment.
