About The Company

Founded in 2015, Woopa Travels is a new generation travel agency and destination management company. We re-invent the travel experience and combine adventure with professional storytelling to create quality experiences for every traveller. The Company manages the following leading tour operator brands: Monster Day Tours, Lion Heartlanders and UBE.


In this role, you will be responsible for full set of accounts, including daily accounting tasks such as payment reconciliation, invoicing, and billing. You will work closely with our internal team as well as external stakeholders on payment matters.


Job Responsibilities

  • Perform daily accounting tasks, including recording and reconciling financial transactions such as income, expenses and payments.
  • Create, review and send invoices promptly to ensure on-time receivables.
  • Verify and process bills, claims and payments following the company's payment cycle.
  • Liaise with relevant departments & external stakeholders relating to AP/AR matters.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to reconcile and resolve discrepancies in receipt and payment matters.
  • Assist with financial compliance matters, including audits, taxation (GST, Corporate Tax) and corporate secretarial duties (annual filing, company resolutions)
  • Ensure the secure handling of confidential Finance records and proactively address and escalate issues to management.
  • Continuously identify gaps in Finance processes and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Provide timely and comprehensive reporting to management, ensuring accuracy and completeness of Finance information.
  • Perform any other Ad Hoc duty assigned.


Job Requirements


Skills and Experience

  • Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HR/Finance software.
  • Attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of HR practices and Finance principles.
