Working Days: Mon to Fri, 0830 – 1750 Alt Saturdays: 0830 - 1230
Responsibilities:
- Respond to any export or import inquiries
- Coordinate with shipper on arrangements for collection and other export-related issues.
- Communicate with the destination office and sales to determine rates and obtain air approval.
- Contact the finance team if a shipment requires COD payment or if a customer's account has been overcharged.
- Engage with Vendor Management to arrange for the pickup of
- Coordinate the flight schedule with the air freight planner.
- Communicate with the permit department on any applications for export permits.
- Collaborate with the warehouse staff regarding any requests for storage, freight acceptance, release, sorting, and packing.
- Liaise with an outside vendor for tasks such as fumigation, DG packaging, and crating.
- In order to give shipping instructions, communicate with the export operation team.
- Support the manager handle the team's everyday operational problems and inquiries
- Support Manager supporting departmental projects Manager during the creation of a new account
Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma / Degree in Logistics / Supply Chain Management industry or related discipline
- Experience in freight forwarding (Air Freight/ Import or Export)
