What you will do
- Prepare menu with precision and attention to detail.
- Package food products for takeaway, ensuring quality and presentation.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace at the throughout the shift
- Engage in the daily operations of the kitchen, executing tasks according to the staff roster.
- Assist in inventory and supply management, contributing to a well-stocked and efficient kitchen
- Exercise portion control and minimize waste by using ingredients and equipment effectively
- Uphold our high standards of personal, food, and beverage hygiene
- Comply with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) policies and procedures
- Daily feedback and reporting of issues
- Set-up the assigned workstation with all the needed ingredients and cooking equipment
- Follow recipes, and presentation specifications as set by the Executive Chef
- Assist with checking, receiving and storing of goods and maintenance of storage areas
- Attend briefings and participate in training.
- Learn to prepare and cook a variety of exquisite dishes according to menu specifications
- Collaborate with the team to continuously improve kitchen operations, contributing ideas for menu development, cost control, and process optimization.
- Able to work in shifts
