We are looking for a skilled System Architect specializing in Automatic Fare Collection (AFC) systems to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in system architecture and design, with at least three years of experience in AFC systems. This role requires expertise in software development, network infrastructure, and managing tender processes.
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead cross-functional discussions to gather system requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Collaborate with customers and stakeholders to influence system architecture decisions.
- Ensure proposed architectures meet functional and non-functional requirements, including quality, security, and scalability.
- Develop user stories, functional specifications, and acceptance criteria in collaboration with the development team.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation such as Software Requirements Traceability Matrix and Design Documents.
- Prepare and manage tenders for new AFC projects, including solution design and cost estimation.
- Provide technical support during tender evaluation and negotiation phases.
- Work effectively in a team-oriented environment to deliver high-quality solutions.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related fields.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in System Architecture and Design, specifically in AFC systems.
- Proven expertise in systems engineering, software development, and network infrastructure.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to address complex technical challenges.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with stakeholders.
- Proficiency in UML and other modelling methods.
- Experience in Software Architecture such as Micro-Services and N-Tier Architecture.
- Familiarity with team collaboration tools (e.g., JIRA) is advantageous.
- Relevant certifications in System Architecture and Design would be beneficial.
