Job Description & Requirements
  • Marine Supervisor (Piping/Thermal Insulation)

Job Scope: Execute and revise project work plans to cater to changing needs and requirements Supervise works to ensure timely completion and adhere to various standards

Liaise with clients, Managers in preparation for site work and plan schedules Keep Project Manager well informed of status of project and coordinate communications between various departments Liaise with the design specialists on drawings, amendment and re-submission to clients Assist in conducting site measurement and inspections.

Prepare and submit project documents Attend site and office meetings and prepare progress reports to study project and design basis such as scope of work, overall project schedule, basic design data, client specification, client standard drawings, existing drawings, and plot plan.

To assist in prepare piping / Thermal Insulation fabrication schedule, manpower requirements, manhour distribution and execution plan based on the scope of work and approved budget manhour/schedule.

To prepare piping/Thermal Insulation information list and layout and document list following standard procedure created for the project. To prepare piping general specification inclusive of specification for piping & Thermal Insulation standards/drawings.

  1. Supervisor ( Complete with site inspection & Measurements) in Marine field.
  2. Know the Fabrication ( as per sample).
  3. Knows all types of insulation and cladding fabrication knowledge.
  4. Know the fitting & Installation.Coordinating and managing the staff team + specialist sub-contractor.
  5. Creating and managing team schedules, issues and dispute.
  6. Follow all site safety requirements to ensure the safety and wellbeing management of all stakeholder.
  7. Keeping the project resourced with plant and materials.
  8. Monitoring productivity and providing feedback
  9. Problem-solving
  10. Monitoring and controlling all aspects as needs.
  11. Providing reports on works completed

Min 5 years of working experience in Shipyard Marine Industries with 3 years in supervisory role

Job Requirements: Keen to learn, possess positive attitude and able to work independently /

Driving License

Working hours: Mon to Sat: 8am to 6pm, Sat: 8am to 1pm Required to work on Shipyards / Shifts
