Responsibilities:
Technical Sales Expertise:
- Act as the primary technical expert on ductwork products, assessing customer needs to recommend the best solutions.
- Provide technical presentations, demonstrations, and training to educate and persuade stakeholders on the benefits of our offerings.
Sales Strategy and Execution:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to meet targets and expand market share.
- Build relationships with key decision-makers in target industries, and proactively seek out new business opportunities to convert leads into loyal customers.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers, offering technical support and addressing their needs to ensure satisfaction and retention.
- Use CRM tools to manage sales pipelines and plan closures.
Project Coordination and Support:
- Work with internal teams to oversee project execution, ensuring adherence to technical specs, quality standards, and contract terms.
- Conduct site visits and reviews to support project implementation and resolve customer requirements.
Market Analysis and Product Development:
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to inform product development and marketing strategies.
- Collaborate with product management to suggest enhancements or customizations based on market demand and customer feedback.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and Business Administration; advanced technical certifications or master will be added advantages.
- 3+ years of successful experience in technical sales, with a strong emphasis on process exhaust ductwork systems, ductwork solutions, or related products.
- Deep technical knowledge of process exhaust ductwork principles, ductwork design, airflow dynamics, and building construction practices.
- Proven ability to achieve and exceed sales targets, manage complex sales cycles, and negotiate contracts effectively.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly and persuasively.
- Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce), Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and other sales management tools
