Job Description & Requirements
- Lead in product transfer and new product introduction.
- Accountable for supplier selection, development and strategies alliances
- Responsible for the development and implementation procurement cost reduction and vendor managed inventory program.
- Handle and manage RFQ/RFP, commercial evaluations, price negotiations, PO/Contract awards and PO/Contract administration to final delivery and PO/Contract close out - Ensuring that the Company's best interest is consistently achieved
- Ensure that the procurement process is in adherence to Company and Client requirements, Company policies and procedures
- Build and develop relationships with Suppliers and Contractors, manage relationships and build effective partnerships
- Monitor and review market conditions, price and delivery trends for project materials, equipment and works
- Ensure that the monthly procurement reports and cost saving / cost avoidance statistics are reported on-time to the Procurement Manager
- Support organizational goals and objectives
- Any other tasks as assigned by immediate supervisor or the Head of Department
Job Requirements
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Engineering (Mechanical) or equivalent.
- Team player with positive attitude
- Understanding of negotiation of commercial terms in awarding sales agreements to vendors
- Strong Electrical/Electronics knowledge in General Electronics Commodity
- Able to work under fast-paced environment
- 3-5 years or more experience in a supply chain position (sourcing/ buying) in Sheet Metal or related industry
- Experience with ERP/CRM system such as IFS
