Job Description
The National University of Singapore invites applications for a Visiting Research Professor in the Department of Diagnostic Radiology Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine.
Purpose of the post
The PI lab aims to develop in vitro diagnostics, in vivo imaging and nanobiotechnology with emphasis on molecular imaging tools and drug and gene delivery techniques.
The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to education, faculty development, and service, and complement the research efforts of the Faculty/School where appropriate.
In particular, the successful candidate will be expected to contribute significantly to the School research collaborations with the Ministry of Health Singapore and other stakeholders in Singapore’s health system.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with faculty members and students on ongoing research projects.
- Present research findings at departmental seminars, workshops, and conferences.
- Contribute to the academic community through guest lectures and participation in departmental activities.
- Publish research results in reputable journals and other scholarly outlets.
Qualifications
- Recognized Doctoral degree in a relevant discipline with strong post-doctoral research records
- Track record of publishing in high-impact international peer-reviewed journals
- Experienced in leading independent research studies or a component within larger research programs,
- Ability to generate and maintain an independent stream of research funding,
- Ability to teach public health courses at both undergraduate and graduate levels.
- Ability to work with culturally diverse populations.
