The Opportunity:
Our Singapore studio has an exciting opportunity for an Urban Designer to join the team!
Our collaborative and high-skilled team of urban designers will draw on your creative and technical, production and design expertise to develop award-winning master plans and urban concepts that shape our city for a better future.
Your collaborative and explorative approach, creative thinking, and desire to create great places through great design will allow you to support our clients and foster strong relationships with the brightest minds of Cistri.
You will take part in shaping cities and communities, therefore a genuine enthusiasm for the pursuit of world class design, as well as advanced graphic, verbal, and written communication skills are essential.
You will be:
- Providing support to both the local and other regional Design teams in servicing client requirements;
- Creative design flair and delivery input into multiple projects from concept stage through to design development and production;
- Maintaining knowledge of current trends and design best practice;
- Working across a wide range of project types from individual sites, broad acre greenfield developments, inner city urban regeneration, transport and infrastructure, retail, waterfronts, commercial developments and town centres;
- Visually and creatively communicating key design ideas and outcomes in clear and succinct ways across a range of methods and platforms.;
- Providing input to a range of quality services including site analysis, project positioning, urban framework plans, urban context reports, yield analyses, master planning and design guidelines for relevant projects;
- Providing support to the Design Studio in servicing client requirements;
- Working alongside other professionals on a range of multi-disciplinary projects, aligning to direction or a brief, to deadlines, within budget and with a commercial focus;
About you:
- Tertiary qualifications in Urban Design, Architecture, Landscape Architecture, Urban & Regional Planning or a related discipline;
- Experience in an Urban Design practice or team is desirable;
- Minimum 3 years relative experience
