Responsibilities:
· Oversee and manage civil and building construction projects from inception to completion.
· Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.
· Conduct site inspections and assessments to ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards.
· Resolve any technical issues that arise during construction.
· Prepare and maintain detailed project documentation, including progress reports and schedules.
· Ensure all project documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with regulatory requirements.
· Implement and monitor quality control procedures to ensure high standards of workmanship.
· Ensure and monitor all instrumentation compliance to the design requirement.
· Address any non-conformities promptly and effectively.
· Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
· Ensure proactive measures are in place to prevent accidents and incidents on-site.
· Work closely with project teams, including architects, engineers, and other professionals, to achieve project goals.
· Foster a collaborative and positive working environment on-site.
Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering recognized by the PE Board or qualifications accepted by the Commissioner of Building Control for registration as a Resident Engineer.
· Minimum of three (3) years of relevant local experience in civil and building construction.
· Strong technical knowledge of civil and building construction practices and standards.
· Proficiency in project management software and tools.
· Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
· Strong organizational and time management skills.
· Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
