Responsibilities: -
- Daily facilities inspection and maintenance for Data Centre E&M facilities
- Perform shift duty to manage Data Centre operations, maintenance, troubleshooting, project rollout, and facilities related matters. Etc
- Supervise Vendors to carry out scheduled and unscheduled facilities maintenance on Datacentre which includes the preventive and corrective maintenance. This includes coordination with internal and/or external parties, contractors, suppliers, and clients.
- Escalate the problem / incident to Engineers or Manager.
- Promptly respond and attend, handling the incident or emergency situations with the proper closure of Incident report.
- Monitor the Building Management System (BMS)
- Assist Manager / Engineers to handle Customers’ IT equipment racks & equipment move-in/out.
- Perform Burn-in Test & Current Leakage Test for Customers’ IT equipment
- Assist Engineers to maintain and update Inventory list / Asset list, monthly reports, service reports and other records etc.
- Provide 7 x 24 shift duty service and other support based on site requirements.
- Promote and maintaining the core Values of Engie.
- Ensure professional image of Engie presented to clients and visitors at all times.
- Comply and adhere to all regulated protocol and/or Company’s rules and regulation.
- Perform other duties at time assigned by line managers.
Qualifications: -
- Certificate in Mechanical, Electrical or Building Services Engineering
- Minimum 2 years’ experienceof facilities operation in Data Centre/Telecommunications industry
- Familiar with a minimum of two types of critical facilities (Chiller/Cooling Tower, CRAC, UPS, STS, Generators, PDU, DRUPS, Pumps, Fire alarm systems, Electrical schematics, Transformers, switchgears etc.)
- Holder of Technical certificate or above
- Preferably understand all the associated safety code related requirements relative to providing the service.
- Experience with Health & Safety, Risk Assessments and Control Measures
- 7 x 24 shift duty required, able to work rotating shifts and on weekends/public holidays
