Job Description
- Global Supply Chain Management: Oversee and manage the entire supply chain process, including procurement, production, logistics, and distribution, ensuring seamless operations across international borders.
- Vendor & Supplier Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with global suppliers and vendors. Negotiate contracts, manage supplier performance, and ensure timely delivery of materials and components.
- Logistics & Distribution: Coordinate and optimize logistics operations, including import/export processes, transportation, warehousing, and inventory management, to ensure efficient and cost-effective distribution of products globally.
- Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, customs requirements, and industry standards. Identify and mitigate risks related to supply chain disruptions, geopolitical issues, and currency fluctuations.
- Demand Forecasting & Inventory Planning: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast demand, plan inventory levels, and implement strategies to minimize excess stock and reduce lead times.
- Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve supply chain processes, implementing best practices and innovative solutions to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service levels.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of supply chain professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration. Provide guidance and support to ensure the team meets operational goals.
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyze supply chain data, monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), and prepare regular reports to inform decision-making and strategic planning.
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., APICS, CIPS) is a plus.
- 6-10 years of experience in supply chain management, with at least 3 years in a managerial role overseeing international operations.
- Experience in the electronics manufacturing industry is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of global supply chain dynamics, including experience managing supply chains across multiple countries.
- Proficiency in supply chain management software (e.g., ERP) and advanced knowledge of logistics, procurement, and inventory management.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels and work effectively with international partners.
