Responsibilities:
- Oversee timely and accurate generation of invoices for customer, ensuring that all billing information is correct and in compliance with company polices and procedure as well as abides and align to Contracts/ Agreements; also, to meet requirements set forth by the Bureau of Authority – such as IRAS and GST.
- Review and analyze billing data and reports to identify and discrepancies or errors, taking appropriate actions to resolve them.
- Collaborate with other departments such as Sales, Service, Store and Finance to ensure billing processes are aligned with overall business objectives and customer satisfaction goals.
- Develop and implement billing strategies and best practices to optimize efficiency and improve the accuracy of billing processes
- To manage and facilitate activities involving Vessel Stamp, sea export and import, triangle shipment, warehousing, trucking and resolve any operational-related issues affecting billings.
- Monitor and maintain client accounts, ensuring that all billing records are up to date and accurately reflect the services provided as well as collection / payment received from Customer.
- Address and resolve customer inquiries and disputes regarding billing issues, providing excellent customer service and maintaining positive client relationships.
- Prepare and present regular reports to management on billing activities, financial performance and any issues or opportunities for improvement regularly on a monthly basis.
- Stay informed about industry trends and changes in billing regulations, ensuring that the company remains compliant and up to date with best practices.
- Providing on-going support and professional development opportunities to enhance each skill and knowledge and support / perform ad hoc duties assigned by Finance Manager and The Management.
Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma or higher in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- Proven experience in billing with at least 3-5 years of experience.
- Familiarity with relevant accounting and billing regulations and best practices
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office – Excel, Words etc as well as Oracle NetSuite.
- Able to start work immediately or at a short notice is an added advantage.
