Job Description:
• To effectively oversee and manage all preservation activities. To manage all stakeholders’ expectations and efficiently manage entire preservation and data inputs to assist with client data entry requirements.
• To manage all inventory incoming and outgoing and ensure processes and procedures put in place are strictly adhered to.
• To provide project supervisory support, HSE and general preservation guidance for all preservation and warehouse crews.
• To inspect all goods and identify risks to the program.
• To implement a QA/QC program and report regularly on findings.
• To assign roles and responsibilities to all preservation personnel.
• To manage and control incoming of all material to be going onboard the assigned vessel.
Qualifications
- Educational Background:Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience:Minimum of 5 years of experience in preservation, warehouse management, or a related field.
Proven track record of supervising teams in a preservation or warehousing environment.
- Technical Skills:In-depth knowledge of preservation techniques and processes.
Familiarity with inventory management systems and data entry protocols.
Experience with QA/QC program implementation and reporting.
- Project Management:Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Experience in developing and enforcing procedures and protocols.
- Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE):Strong understanding of HSE regulations and best practices.
Proven ability to provide guidance on HSE matters and ensure compliance.
- Leadership and Communication:Excellent leadership skills with the ability to assign roles, manage personnel, and maintain team motivation.
Strong communication skills to effectively manage stakeholder expectations and coordinate with various teams.
- Problem-Solving:Ability to identify risks and implement solutions to mitigate them.
Experience in inspecting goods and addressing issues related to preservation.
- Organizational Skills:Strong organizational skills to manage incoming and outgoing inventory efficiently.
Ability to oversee and control material going onboard vessels.
