Our client is a leading crytographic technology development firm in Singapore, providing design and development services to its partners and customers. We have the following vacancy for:
R&D Software - Firmware Engineer
Responsibilities:
· Interact with external customers and/or internal stakeholders to understand the requirements and be responsible for formulating the products to meet these requirements
· Translate the requirements into technical specifications
· Design and develop the SW / FW modules for the product
· Perform both Software (SW) / firmware (FW) design, development, unit testing, integration and system level testing
· Responsible for the integration of the SW modules with other SW module(s) developed by other project team members as well as supporting and/or carrying out system level testing
· Prepare the SW / FW binaries necessary for manufacturing, if applicable
· Write user guide and/or manuals when required
· Review SW design as well as source code written by other members of the software team when required
· Review software architecture, unit integration and system tests plans and test reports
· Provide SW support for product qualification and/or certification activities when required
Requirements:
· Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or any related discipline with at least 2 – 3 years working experience in software development and testing
· Proficiency in C/C++ and Python
· Experience with V2X communication protocol
· Experience with full-stack web app development
· Knowledge of network protocols, network switching/routing, network segmentation
· Proficiency in JavaScript
· Experience with software development on embedded Linux platforms
· Familiarity with software life cycle development methodologies and secure coding principles
· Excellent teamwork skills and able to collaborate in cross-functional team
· Strong problem-solving skills
· Good written, verbal communication skills in English
· Able to work on multiple projects simultaneously
