Key Responsibilities:
● Provide high-quality care to animals by performing examinations, diagnostic procedures, and assisting in procedures.
● Administer medications, triage, assess vital signs, perform laboratory works and diagnostic imaging.
● Pre and post-surgery care, instrument preparation and reprocessing, maintaining aseptic techniques, and anesthesia monitoring.
● Handle daily operations, including managing and assigning tasks for the team members and implementing standard operating procedures.
● Ensuring treatments are done following the veterinarian’s plan, maintaining medical records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
● Handle scheduling and coordination of appointments, procedures, and surgeries.
● Strong leadership and team management skills, implementing and keeping the standard operating procedure up to date, training, mentoring, and motivating the para-vet team.
● Manage inventory, maintaining supplies, equipment and facilities.
● Deliver excellent customer service, address client concerns, explain patient status and care instructions.
Requirements:
● Degree in Veterinary Medicine or equivalent.
● Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
● Confident in routine surgeries and diagnostics; additional experience in specialties (e.g., ultrasonography, TCM) is a plus.
● Strong communication skills, a caring attitude, and a team player mentality.
● Leadership and management skills are essential.
