My client is a manager of a Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT) listed on SGX. They focus on investing in real estate across Europe, with a portfolio that includes office, retail, and industrial properties. Since its listing over 10 years ago, my client has built a diversified portfolio, featuring properties in Germany, Spain, and France.
They are currently looking for a high calibre and self-motivated Finance Manager/Assistant Manager to be part of the team.
Salary: Up to $7,500 | Office Location: CBD
Job Duties:
• Review monthly Management Accounts submitted by Singapore and overseas subsidiaries.
• Coordinate financial reporting from Singapore and overseas subsidiaries for consolidation purposes.
• Perform analytical reviews on variances in performance between actual and budget.
• Review tax returns prepared by tax agents for regulatory filing.
• Prepare statutory financial statements.
• Review annual budgets and periodic forecasts submitted by subsidiaries.
• Liaise with service providers and Trustees over daily operational matters.
• Assist in the preparation of quarterly Board and Audit Committee Papers.
• Coordinate debt compliance reporting and ensure timely submission to banks.
• Ensure timely reporting and monitor compliance with various codes, guidelines, and authorities.
• Assist the Head of Financial Controlling in the preparation of annual budgets and the annual report.
• Assist in monitoring and ensuring compliance with the Group’s policies and procedures, and help maintain robust internal control processes.
• Liaise with internal and external auditors, and tax agents.
• Provide ad-hoc support for acquisitions, financing activities, and other projects.
Qualifications:
• The ideal candidate should have a Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field, with Chartered Accountant or ACCA qualification being preferred.
• They should possess sound knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards and have experience working with Singapore-listed companies, with experience in REITs being extremely advantageous.
• A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in accounting, audit, or finance is required.
• The candidate should be able to work effectively under pressure in a dynamic and unstructured environment, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
